Well here we are again Anne, the 3rd of June, your Birthday and what a beautiful morning it is. One of my favourite memories of all your birthdays was your 40th back in 2005, we went to Dubai, had a fabulous time and on your actual birthday I took you to the gold souk and bough you matching 18 carrot gold bracelet and earrings, I remember it costing me an awful lot of money, but you were worth every penny. On that same day we went back to the hotel, which was the Sheraton Creek hotel and whilst we were making our way up the stairs to the pub inside the hotel (called the Chelsea Arms), we were approached by this Arab man, he said hello to you and then turned to me and said "Is this your Wife", to which I replied yes, he then surprised us both by offering me several camels for you, (I can't remember the amount) we both looked at each other and smiled, I turned to the Arab and said thank you for your offer but she is not for sale, he then proceeded to make a further two offers of camels for you which I politely declined. We went into the Chelsea Arms sat down and had a birthday drink and laughed like crazy at what had just happened. What a day to remember.

Ever since you were 16 we have spent every Birthday together, this year is different but we are still together and we will have a lovely day remembering the good times we all shared.
