So as I’m writing this I am on the plane on the way to Lanzarote with Mum, Dad and Drew. It’s kind of strange but almost comforting as when we were in the duty free just trying to kill some time at 4:45 am I was walking around and I came across this blue bottle which I recognised and of course it was one of you perfumes you used to wear when I was younger I think you still have it however enjoyed wearing different ones more but I smelt the bottle and it was like I was with you again, like back when I was a wee one. I then sprayed it on me and I loved it so so much.. On the plan now I keep thinking about you like I do everyday I guess.. I still look out for your car when I’m driving around or hoping I’ll bump into somewhere random. The last time I was on a plane was with you when we had the massive family holiday to the two villas in Alicante in Spain. It was so much fun, we of course had good times and bad times as a lot went on however it was still lovely. We were all together as a family laughing and joking around. One of the days we went out and went exploring we all loaded into the few hire cars we had and off we went, following one another and heading down through Benidorm which is where we stopped! I have a photo of you, Mum, Nannie and I walking all together in a line and of course we were leading the way.. We then came across a funny funny shop, it had like Benidorm souvenirs in, bags, wigs, dodgy aprons and the list goes on. The men went off and of course got the dodgy aprons and the wigs and we were looking at the bags and the t-shirts and hats and you tried them on and held them up against you and of course you looked as beautiful as ever! You were then trying to get grandad George to buy a bag. The reasons why we were all together was because of yourself and Mum you sorted everything and ensured everything could go as smooth as possible. It was hard organising such a big group of people and a very large age range. There’s already been those people who annoy you, who are blatantly rude who we always seem to be really close to. And oh the olds when we were queuing in an orderly line they just pushed in, rude!!! Anyways I don’t know if you’ll be proud or disappointed but I didn’t buy any gin at duty free however there is always when we come home😂 Love always Bryony xxx
